Both are safe to gargle with, but (I'm sure you know) they're not safe to ingest. :0) I would go with the salt water personally, because the hydrogen peroxide will foam up in your mouth and leave a worse taste than the salt water. Listerine mouthwash is another excellent product to kill oral bacteria AND it'll leave your breath fresh. :0)<br><b>References : </b><br>24+ years as a Trauma Nurse. Masters degree in Science.
