try using the rotadent it is similar to what the hygienist used when polishing your teeth. it is very gentle and cleans your teeth really well compared to oral b or sonicare. warranty for this is lifetime you just have to register it. you can only buy this in a dental office or check online to know where to get it.

I use a electric toothbrush since September 2005...It's starting to die off now though.

I have a simple crest spinbrush pro and Ive used it for 2 years and I never had a problem, Ive never had to replace batteries or the head, I like it, dont get them too wet, and take off the head every other day to let it dry out, this should make it last longer.

Mine always got the battery compartment wet and rusted all the internal gear. Blech.

I agree. So I bought a cheap, $12 one and it's been working on the same ole battery since a year ago. I found it at Long's drug store and I think it's an Oral B. Good luck!

Sonicare lasts forever. I've had mine for four years. All you have to do is buy the replacement heads. And trust me the expense now is negligible to what you are saving long term by having healthy teeth and gums.

If you buy a good one, it should last. I too have the Oral B. I've replaced the battery once.
