Only one!! I use the SoniCare toothbrush. A lot of dentists recommend it, but I can say from personal experience, I wouldn’t use another one ever again. The kit you buy is a little expensive at first, and can range from $89.99-159.99. Any of them are good. The kit also comes with 1 toothbrush head, the toothbrush, and charging dock. I buy a new toothbrush head every 2-3 months, and those are about 35.00. I HAVEN’T HAD CAVITIES IN 6 YEARS!!! I also floss, but I know its from this toothbrush!

well, they are designed to give you the perfect brush. and prevent periodontal diseases, gum reccesion, gum pockects, etc.

they are very good and they work much better than a manual tooth brush. they do what we don’t reach to do with the manual tooth brush.

    hope I was helpful!!

I use an electric toothbrush and I would definately recommend it although if you brush your teeth too hard it can cause damage to the enamel.

I recommend the Sonicare toothbrush. It has three different levels and comes with a standard and compact head. It does work wonders and I can tell the difference in my patients when they return for their 6mths ck up…Your dental office may have them cheaper then the stores.

my husband has used sonicare for years…it is expensive and he has lots of dental problems
I use old-school brush from the dentist office and I do not have problems…I did have extensive gum disease and with a dental plan designed by the dentist, my problem is over…total recovery…without the sonicare
to me…sonicare is for the lazy and those who do not take responsibility for their own health care

Yes! They DO work better! Brushing your teeth for 2 minutes with a power toothbrush will remove the same about of plaque it would take 6 minutes to remove with a manual toothbrush!

They are also better for dexterity, as the pulsations do the work for you and you will not have to ’scrub’ with the toothbrush.

I’ve used both the Oral-B Triumph as well as the Sonicare and I love them both. I’m a Dental Hygiene Student, so these things get thrown at me for Free every now and then.

I think I like the Sonicare a little better, but it tickled at first. I currently use the Triumph (I gave the Sonicare to my Fiance). It came with "floss action" brushheads which I felt were too rough, so I repleaced it with "sensitive" brushheads. These worked out SO much better!

It’s very worth it to invest in an electric toothbrush. Your teeth will thank you :)
