Yes. You couldn’t match the brush strokes that an electrical toothbrush can do. Also, you are less likely to press really hard, which means you are less likely to abrade(sp?) your teeth, which can lead to extreme sensitivity.
I realize that after some months using Commission Blueprint 2 that it was and still is the best IM product I have ever purchased without any doubts.
To this day the guys who created it are still sharing new tools with us purchasers that is shooting our sites into the top ten of Google with somewhat of great ease. If you want to read more about my use of this tool, visit Commission Blueprint 2 Review here.

My kids have had fewer cavities since they’ve had their electric toothbrushes. I use an electric and my teeth feel cleaner and I brush for less time.

My dentist says yes, but he still uses a manual toothbrush. He’s the only person working in his office who still does. One thing they do is to work as well on the the inner part of the teeth on the right side of your jaw as you do on the left (right handers tend to neglect that because of the awkwardness of holding the brush).
I use a manual toothbrush (soft) and floss and use interdental brushes (little brushes you use between your teeth to clean the surfaces the flat brush doesn’t reach well) and have great checkups. So, changing to an electric toothbrush isn’t necessary.
