Are electric toothbrushes any better than ordinary ones?

They probably do clean better, but often the bigger issue is how often you change your brush or brush-head. This should be done 3 monthly, most people fail to chance them often enough.

Yes only because people will get more off in less time with a power toothbrush. The key with those is to slowly move it around your mouth and let the brush do the work for you. If not used properly then no it isnt better than a manual brush.

they are both good. electric just cause vibrations that help loosen the plaque easily, but the same is done with a regular tb. look up bass sulcular method it will show you how to brush correctly. dont buy sonic care, it is good but is to expensive. plus in my opinion that tb is for lazy people since the brush does the work 4 u. stay old school.
