    Hi Leonore,

Smoking causes staining within the enamel of your teeth, so a whitening toothpaste won’t help. You can get good results from teeth whitening kits to use at home. The one I like is Idol White.

Be honest with you there are no "best" teeth whitening product. A lot of them is a similar product that employ hydrogen peroxide to bleach you teeth.

I can imagine you would like to have a new kind of image after quitting your smoking habit, BTW, salute to you decision. It is one of the toughest thing to do. Really good for your lung.

Anyway, I think I would suggest you to try one of those freebie on the web regarding teeth whitening products.

I have come across a reviewing site you might want to take a look. Good luck

You really don’t have to go to the dentist or get a prescription. That whole method will cost you some big bucks. I was in the same situation as you about 6 years ago. I quit smoking and I didn’t want to have a smile that even gave a hint that I had been a smoker. There are several free trials you can get and just during the free trial you can brighten your smile up to about 9 shades whiter!
